Congress : Making people want to
From the 29th to the 31st of March, MBS hosted for the first time the annual conference of ACIEGE on its campus.
ACIEGE is a professional association, created in 1993, which brings together the heads of libraries / knowledge hubs / learning centres of CGE management schools. It has about forty members.
Although they belong to competing schools, its greatest strength is its networking. Communication is extremely frequent because we share the same issues:
- the same audiences (our teachers, our employees and our students!)
- the same suppliers (databases for our researchers, for example)
- the same activities (interventions in courses, the development of documentary resources for students, etc.)
- and the same concerns about our professions, its evolution and how to offer more and more high value-added services to our stakeholders!
Our congress on the topic of "Making you want to" was once again very rich. This professional network is both an opportunity to better understand our professional environment and to be inspired to improve our Learning Center, but it is also a group of professionals who are passionate about their work, who are committed, motivated and open to sharing!
